OCRText | X-Country teams show talent ee a1 This year was the first for cross country in the girls’ division. They competed against tough runners from Bowie, Jefferson, Ysleta and Bel Air. Mr. Dale Reinhardt com- mented that the girls competed at a very high rank compared to oth- er runners in their district. They have a lot of potential and should do very well in future meets. The outstanding runners were Cruz Perez and Margret Provincio. Through blisters and cramps the girls never gave up. With hard work, the boys’ Cross Country seemed as though they had experienced many seasons of running. They were ranked third in the district meet and Mr. Rein- hardt said that he considered it a very high accomplishment. The outstanding runners were David Meyers and David Garcia. Mr. Reinhardt said he thinks next year the pack should do well. 64 Cross-Country |
