| OCRText | New: Superintendent, Principal, Schools This year Socorro had a lot of changes. First of all, we have a new principal, Mr. Alfonso Basurto, who took the place of Mr. Eugene Jones, who is now principal of Es- contrias Elementary school. We also have a new Superintendent, Mr. Bill Sybert. He is a veteran of 28 years of school teaching, and he came to us from the El Paso Inde- pendent School District. Construction has started on three K-8 grade schools. One will be located in East El Paso, one in Moon City and one in Horizon City. All three schools are expected to be ready by for classes in the fall of 1983. The District’s newest school is Campestre Elementary (K-6) which was dedicated in November of 1982. Mr. John O.
