| OCRText | : — — English teacher Charlie McDonald took over the reins of the folklore class, and with his small group pro- duced another edition of Sombras del Pasado, the folklore magazine. Johnny Murphy, Fray Candelaria, Herbert Reyes and Tommy Garcia spent many afternoons in the dark- room, learning to process the pic- tures for the book. Field trips were taken to a winery and to interview various personal- ities from the area. Stories were writ- ten, typed, and edited by members of the class. The book was sold in the spring. (1) Folklore members John Murphy and Herbert Reyes write stories for the Folk- lore Magazine. (2) Fray Candelaria looks on contact sheets for pictures. (3) Tommy Garcia prints pictures in darkroom. (4) Mr, Charlie McDonald prepared himself well for Halloween Sombras 115 |
