| OCRText | Expansion, enhances district Jan. 24 registered voters in So- corro ISD approved a $10 million bond issue by more than a 2-1 mar- gin. The election cleared the way for the district to construct two elemen- tary schools, a junior high school, and a cafeteria at Socorro High School. The bond issue will finance construction in the district for the next five years. The new schools are needed because of the continuously increasing enrollment of the district.
