OCRText | particioation hits high note The band is one of the most active organizations in the school. The 1979-80 musicians numbered 68, with both high school and junior high mem- bers. During marching season the band drilled every morning at 7:30 A.M. and marched dur- ing halftime and pre-game shows. During concert season the band gave a spring concert and particpated in many con- tests, including an Honor Band contest at Tempe, Arizona Mu- sic Festival. Many band mem- bers also participated in all-re- gion bands and played solos and ensembles. 4.
