| OCRText | Co abint all above SeRves EYER Christmas vacation was over. Students came back antici- pating dull months ahead, for the next break was a long way off. Contradiction was around the corner though. Spring weather came, then went — even snowing one day — and came back again, settling in during March. An ex- citing basketball season broke the monotony during January. February was filled with more fun. Stuffed animal day, red day, kissing booths, pep rally, and the Basketball Apprecia- tion Dance made Valentines Day last all week long. Starting in March, baseball, track, tennis, and golf kept the ball rolling. NHS sponsored the original and popular idea of egg-o-grams for Easter. Work- shops for learning more about ourselves, held at Region XIX and the junior high, allowed a change from everyday activi- ties. The time came for juniors to buy their class rings and prep- arations began for the prom. Due to lack of interest the sen- ior trip was cancelled but the seniors still looked forward to graduation with great antici- pation. Where did all the time go? Here it is the end of another school year and there was not one dull moment. student life 27 |
